Wrongful Death

Wrongful Death
When someone is killed by the actions of another person, their close relatives can file a claim against the liable person. The liable person can be sued civilly in a wrongful death action which is independent of a criminal case.

Typically compensation is calculated based on a number of factors including future income for supporting a family, pain, suffering and other factors. Contact an attorney immediately if you have lost a loved one due to someone's negligent actions.
